The nightlife in Shanghai

Shanghai is becoming more and more Western.
We took for us something non-traditional party destination for tourists and checked what the Chinese metropolis of Shanghai had to offer to various nightlife activities. And we can safely say that we were a bit surprised by the enormous quantities of night clubs that exist in China's second largest city. Here is a brief guide from us in the Holiday Party on the nightlife in Shanghai.

China's answer to New York

"Have you been to New York, you've been in Shanghai ..." there is something called. Admittedly, a somewhat controversial statement, but certainly a phrase that gives us an idea of what we have to expect of various treats when we are going to take us a Tsing Tao (Chinese beer) and get out among the party horny Chinese.
At first glance, not the nightlife in Shanghai much to brag about.

Despite the western culture, which flooded the fashion boutiques like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and Lacoste, they have not quite managed to copy the lifestyle of flat drunk and 20 beers on a good Saturday. Fair enough - the Chinese way of life that has been built up for hundreds of years may not be the easiest to budge on.Nightlife in Shanghai

But in a city with about 15 million people, so it must clearly be some people who want to get out and take a liberating beer when the sun goes down behind the Chinese mountain? And it is so absolute. Shanghai's nightlife is among the easiest to find, but clubs are clustered in an area called Zhuopu.
Back to the example of New York. Fashionable and "classy" night clubs have increasingly taken over the Americans refer to as "The Big Apple". And the apple nightlife consists very much of the night clubs that are designed for the slightly richer generation of tourists and natives. Should we believe trendtmagasinene that plague America's streets during the day, there are several fake designer clothes in New York than there are genuine brands. In other words, it flows over the "wannabee" on the guest lists of the most luxurious night clubs.Quiet and relaxed culture

Fake designer clothing and guest lists are also some of the Guandii club in Shanghai offers. If it is not only Westerners here, it's certainly a good number of them too. A meeting with the nightlife in Shanghai is not a meeting with the Chinese drunk - but a setting where people from different western countries meet to entertain each other. Can hardly draw parallels to the typical Mediterranean destinations where Swedes, Britons, Norwegians and Germans gather to have an insane summer party every year.

This costs a beer in town in Shanghai: 15-20 Norwegian kroner.
